Buon Kuop hhydropower plant has a capacity of 280MW, is the second largest hydropower project in the Central Highlands, after Ya Ly hydroelectricity. The project is located in Nam Da commune, Krong No district (Dac Nong), Ea Na commune, Krong Ana district and Hoa Phu commune, Buon Ma Thuot city (Dac Lak).
Buon Kuop hydropower plant has a total investment of more than 4,600 billion VND, of which the value of construction and installation is about 1,900 billion VND.
